About the Livingston Remembers October 7th Memorial

Each year, our community comes together at the Livingston Gazebo to honor and remember the victims of the horrific terrorist attack on Israel that took place on October 7th, 2023, and to reflect on the lives that were lost.

The memorial is filled with flags — each one representing a person, a life lived, and a story that deserves to be remembered.

Behind every name is a person — someone who was loved, who had a life, and who had a story.

We wanted people to know who they were.

We created this website to give greater meaning to the names visitors see as they walk through the memorial and to bring the stories behind those names to life. Here, visitors can learn about the people represented by the flags — their families, their passions, their dreams, the people they loved, and the lives they lived.

Whether you are visiting the memorial in person or discovering these stories from somewhere else, we invite you to pause. Read a name. Discover a story. Light a candle. Remember a life.

May their memories forever be a blessing.
