Dor Mangadi, 24, of Rosh Ha’ayin, was a police officer and former Golani soldier remembered as a devoted son, beloved brother and the person who made the world feel magical to those around him. Called to duty when the October 7 attack began, Dor joined fellow officers entering Kibbutz Be’eri. Their armored jeeps were ambushed by Hamas terrorists using RPGs and gunfire. Dor was killed alongside six other officers in the battle.
