1st Class(res.) Ofek Arazi
28 years old
Ofek Arazi, 28, was a native of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak and a member of its local security team, remembered for his enormous heart, strength and sensitivity. On October 7, security chief Yaron Shahar called him to help defend the kibbutz. Ofek put on his helmet and headed to the community gate, where the small security team fought dozens of Hamas gunmen. He was killed protecting the home he loved.
