Alexy Budovski, 39, of Beersheba, was a police officer in the Negev Yasam patrol unit, husband and father of three. Born in Belarus, he moved to Israel as a child and built his life and career there. On October 7, Alexy and his comrades were sent to Kibbutz Re’im as Hamas terrorists invaded. They entered the kibbutz and fought under heavy gunfire. Alexy was killed in battle alongside fellow officer Uriel Avraham.
