Alina Weisberg, 17, was a 12th-grade student from Beersheba remembered by classmates as their “little sister,” a friend to everyone and the angel of the class. Friends said she naturally took charge of social activities, lifted people’s spirits and brought light into their lives. During the holiday weekend she went to Zikim Beach with her partner and friends. When the October 7 attack began, the group sought shelter in the beach facilities, where Alina was murdered. Her classmates promised to carry her memory with them and remember the happiness she brought to those around her.
