Amir Manzhor Naim, 27, was a chemical engineering student, husband and member of Kibbutz Erez’s local security team. His wife was pregnant with their first child when Hamas attacked on October 7. Amir immediately joined the defense team and fought dozens of terrorists approaching the kibbutz. He was mortally wounded in the battle, but the team succeeded in preventing the attackers from entering the community. His son Refael was born six months later.
