Amir, 69, was a longtime Kibbutz Be’eri resident who worked for years in agriculture and later at the kibbutz printing house. Quiet and gentle, he was also known for his beautiful singing voice and performed at kibbutz ceremonies. He and his wife Mati loved nature, the Negev’s open spaces and their large family of four children and 10 grandchildren. They were murdered together in their home on October 7.
