Amitay Malihi, 20, of Rosh Ha’ayin, was a loving son and brother remembered for his humor, smile, singing and extraordinary generosity. Despite a difficult childhood that included years in boarding schools, friends said he repeatedly met hardship with a smile. Amitay was a loyal listener who would do whatever he could to help people around him. He also volunteered at a senior center in Kiryat Ono, where he loved putting on upbeat music and dancing with the residents. His brother remembered the playful spirit and generosity Amitay left behind.
