Arie “Arik” Hefetz, 28, of Ramle, was a financial adviser and coach remembered for extraordinary optimism. Raised in Ramle as the middle of three brothers, he was ambitious, energetic and deeply invested in helping people move forward in their lives. Even as a child he chose to change his name from Arik to Arie because he felt it better reflected the person he wanted to become. Arie attended the Supernova festival on October 7 and was wounded while fleeing before taking refuge in a roadside shelter, where he was murdered.
