Arye Uzan, 68, from Moshav Gilat, worked as a security officer for the Segev Shalom Regional Council. A husband and father of three, he was remembered as kind, caring and always willing to help. He shared a love of fishing with his son Eli, and the two went together almost every weekend. On October 7, they were fishing at Zikim Beach when the attack began.
