Erick “Arik” Peretz, 58, was a well-known surfer and devoted father who shared a special love of music with his daughter Ruth. Ruth was born with cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy and used a wheelchair, and attending music festivals together became one of their cherished traditions. On October 7, Erick brought Ruth to Supernova because the music made her happy. Hamas terrorists murdered them both during the attack. Their family searched for them for days before their bodies were identified more than 10 days later.
