Assaf Shlesinger, 57, of Rosh Ha’ayin, was a father and medical professional who led the medical team at the Supernova festival. He was killed during the Hamas attack on October 7. A year later, his son Nir remembered not only the enormity of losing his father, but the ordinary moments that made their relationship special — laughing together, talking, and even Assaf reminding him to take care of his car. Nir said he would give anything for one more conversation and one more bit of fatherly nagging.
