Avi Megira, 48, of Sderot, was a devoted husband, father of four and much-loved uncle who was passionate about motorcycles. His family described him as dependable, generous and “young at heart” — someone relatives could call at any hour and know he would come help. His son remembered Avi as his best friend, guide and role model, and his sister said they spoke every day. Almost every weekend Avi went riding with friends. He was murdered while returning home from a motorcycle ride on October 7.
