Avi, 61, was a longtime Kibbutz Be’eri resident, father of three and son of Holocaust survivors. He loved animals, gardening, cycling, tennis, reading and films, and over the years worked in many kibbutz jobs, including as a tennis coach and gardener. On October 7, Hamas terrorists murdered Avi in his home. His former father-in-law, Raffi Mordo, was also murdered in Be’eri that day.
