Bar Yankilov, 19, of Karmiel, was a Paratroopers Brigade soldier whose lifelong dream was to defend Israel. When the October 7 invasion began, his unit was sent to Kibbutz Kissufim to rescue residents under attack. Bar helped fill buses with civilians being evacuated from the kibbutz. He was killed while battling Hamas terrorists as the rescue operation continued.
