Binyamin, 23, was a French-Israeli lone soldier from a Chabad family in Brunoy, France. The son of Rabbi Nathanael Loeb, he made aliyah in order to serve in the IDF and became a combat fighter in the Orthodox division of the Paratroopers Brigade. Thousands from across Israeli society attended his funeral in Jerusalem.
