Boaz Abraham, 61, was a farmer and longtime member of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak’s armed local security team, remembered for his big smile, humor and habit of giving everyone nicknames. When Hamas terrorists invaded on October 7, Boaz joined the small security team fighting to defend the kibbutz. He was killed in the battle, and was initially feared kidnapped before his remains were identified several days later.
