Boris Danilov, 34, of Hadera, was a police officer, husband and father of two remembered as the beating heart of his family. On October 7, he was sent south with his unit and entered Kibbutz Be’eri in a pair of armored jeeps with fellow officers and a civilian volunteer. Hamas gunmen ambushed the group with RPGs and gunfire. Boris was killed in the battle, one day after his 34th birthday.
