Chi Zanhung, 47, was a Chinese national living and working in Israel. Memorial records preserve his name among the foreign nationals killed during the October 7 attacks. Public sources currently provide very little information about his family, occupation, interests or life before that day. Chi is remembered here individually so that limited documentation does not leave him absent from the memorial. His 47 years contained relationships, experiences and hopes that cannot be reconstructed from the sparse public record, and his name remains part of the remembrance of the foreign workers and other civilians whose lives were taken on October 7.
