Chum Udum
24 years old
Chum Udum, 24, was a Cambodian national living and working in Israel. Memorial records identify him as having been murdered at Kibbutz Karmia during the October 7 attack. Publicly available sources currently provide very little information about his family, work, interests or life in Cambodia. At only 24, Chum was a young man living far from home whose future extended well beyond the limited facts now preserved online. He is remembered here individually as one of the foreign workers whose lives and labor were part of southern Israel and whose lives were taken on October 7.
