Omer

Dani Alush, 53, was a dedicated employee of the Israel Electric Corporation and the husband of Gal, an educator and school vice principal. Two days after the October 7 attack, Dani went south as part of a work crew to restore electricity near the Avshalom Junction. He was killed while carrying out that work. His family later dedicated a Torah scroll in his memory, saying that Dani had gone there to restore light and that his own light would never be extinguished.
