Daniel Rashed, 19, of Shfaram, was a Golani soldier remembered as shy, warm and brave. After receiving leave to attend his aunt’s wedding just days before October 7, Daniel insisted on returning to his unit rather than staying home longer. He was killed fighting when Hamas terrorists overran the Nahal Oz IDF outpost.
