Daniel Meir Vadai, 27, of Jerusalem, was a lifelong soccer player with a mischievous sense of humor and a smile people remembered. The youngest in his family, he grew up in Jerusalem’s Pat neighborhood and played in the youth systems of both Beitar Jerusalem and Hapoel Katamon. Friends remembered Daniel as playful, warm and full of energy. On October 7 he attended the Supernova festival and sought shelter when the attack began. He was murdered in a roadside shelter alongside other festivalgoers.
