Danielle Cohen, 25, of Netanya, worked with at-risk youth and was remembered for an optimism that endured despite hardships in her own life. Her partner said Danielle never surrendered to adversity and continued to smile and give her all, while friends remembered how naturally she brought laughter, light and love to the people around her. On October 7, Danielle was murdered while trying to flee the Supernova music festival alongside her best friend, Yohai Ben Zecharia. Even as the attack unfolded, a video she recorded showed her trying to reassure the frightened people around her that they would be okay.
