Eliyahu Yaakov Berenshtein, 19, of Jerusalem, was the oldest of ten siblings and a gifted, self-taught musician and artist. Raised in a Haredi family, he chose his own path while remaining deeply caring toward others, teaching himself music-editing software and working in the electronic-music world. His family remembered him as gentle, modest, hardworking and accepting of everyone, someone friends viewed as a source of honesty and light. Eliyahu was part of the Supernova production team and was murdered while trying to flee the festival with his friend Avraham Neriya Cohen.
