Ramat Gan
Gal, 30, from Ramat Gan, was a computer programmer remembered as a joyful and generous friend. He attended Supernova with his childhood friend Joseph “Sefi” Genis. After a rocket struck near their car, both men, wounded by shrapnel, sought refuge in a roadside bomb shelter. When Hamas gunmen entered, Gal and Sefi charged them with their bare hands and pushed them back outside. Both men were murdered; a woman sheltering with them survived.
