Ganesh Kumar Nepali

Ganesh Kumar Nepali, 31, was a bright agricultural student from Nepal who had only recently arrived in Israel for a “learn and earn” farming program. He hoped to specialize in tissue culture and described himself as a future agriculturalist. His professor remembered him as hardworking, talented in his studies, music and literature, and someone who got along with everyone. On October 7, Hamas terrorists attacked the Nepali students’ living quarters at Kibbutz Alumim and murdered Ganesh and nine other Nepali students. His body was returned to Nepal for burial.
