Gila Peled, 59, was a nurse with Clalit in Ashkelon who lived with her family in Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Colleagues remembered her as a role model whose devotion to both her team and her patients earned deep appreciation; her family described her as the glue of their home and someone devoted to helping others. On October 7, Hamas terrorists murdered Gila in her home together with her husband, retired senior Border Police commander Izhar Peled, 61, and their son Daniel, 28. The three were buried side by side.
