Hadar Berdichevsky, 30, lived with her husband, Itay, and their 10-month-old twin sons at Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Her brother remembered Hadar and Itay as an exceptionally strong and loving couple who showed their family what beautiful parenting looked like. On October 7, as Hamas terrorists invaded their home, the couple hid their babies in the reinforced room and fought to protect them. Hadar and Itay were both murdered. Their twins remained alone for more than 12 hours before being rescued alive and later taken in by family.
