83 years old
Hagai Efrat, 83, was a husband, father of four and grandfather of ten whose life combined family, sports and public service. A lifelong soccer lover, he played for Hapoel Haifa and later managed the Hapoel Jerusalem team. He also worked in insurance and in public life. Friends remembered his integrity, calm presence and strong personality, while his family treasured his humor, love of books, sports and daily walks. Hagai was especially known for the beautifully written birthday messages and imaginative stories he created for his grandchildren.
