Haim Ashraf

Haim Ashraf, 68, of Sderot, was one of the city’s residents whose home was overtaken by the violence of October 7. Public memorial sources confirm his age, hometown and that he was murdered in his home, but currently provide little additional information about his family, work, interests or personality. Haim had lived nearly seven decades before that morning — a life of relationships, experiences and memories that cannot be reconstructed from the sparse public record alone. His name is preserved here individually, remembering him as a member of the Sderot community and as a person whose life was far larger than the circumstances of his death.
