Moshav Kfar Aviv
Hana Ben Artzi of Kfar Aviv was a mother of three and grandmother of six who served on her community’s emergency team. On October 7, when the rocket attacks began, Hana left the safety of her home to open a communal bomb shelter so that other residents would have somewhere protected to go. She was killed when a rocket landed nearby. Hana is remembered for the responsibility and concern for her neighbors that led her to act for her community in a moment of danger.
