Hanan “Hanania” Amar, 38, from Ashkelon, was a barber and devoted father of three whose family remembered his huge heart, infectious laugh and willingness to help anyone. He attended Supernova with his close friend Ofer Udi. When the attack began, they fled and sought refuge in a roadside bomb shelter. Hamas terrorists attacked the shelter with gunfire and grenades, murdering both men. Hanan’s family said he was found covering two women he had tried to protect in his final moments.
