Hatib Zaruk

Hatib Zaruk, of Ofakim, was one of the residents killed when terrorists entered the city on October 7. Memorial records state that he was murdered in his home. Public sources currently provide little additional information about his age, family, work, interests or personal history. Hatib is remembered here individually as a resident of Ofakim whose home should have been a place of safety. His name is preserved so that the lack of a fuller public biography does not leave his life unacknowledged among the many individual stories of the people killed that day.
