Kibbutz Ein HaMifratz
Idan Raz, 20, of Kibbutz Ein Hamifratz, was a Golani soldier who dreamed of a future career in education. When Hamas terrorists attacked the Paga outpost on October 7, Idan and his comrades fought from a shelter for hours. After the attackers set the building on fire, Idan and three fellow soldiers went outside to confront them face-to-face. All four were killed, while others in the shelter survived.
