Karin Vernikov, 22, was remembered by her family as a beloved daughter full of light, generosity and an instinct to help others. She dreamed of becoming an event producer and planned to travel abroad before beginning her studies. Karin also loved baking, especially the chocolate cake she was famous for bringing wherever she went. She and her best friend Sapir Bilmas were inseparable. The two attended Nova together and were both murdered. Karin left behind her parents, Leonid and Lubov, and her sister Maria.
