Karina Pritika, 23, from Ariel, was a former rhythmic gymnast who began training at age four and later competed nationally and represented Israel internationally. Friends and coaches remembered her discipline, optimism, constant smile and ability to bring light to those around her. Karina worked at a Tel Aviv restaurant with her close friend Maya Haim, and the two had saved for a months-long trip to South America. On October 7, Karina and Maya were murdered at the Supernova music festival.
