Pardes Hanna
Laor Abramov, 20, was a young DJ and musician who grew up in New Jersey before moving to Israel in 2022. He settled in Pardes Hanna and dreamed of following in the footsteps of his father, David Abramov, the trance DJ known as Darwish. Music was at the center of Laor’s life, but his family also remembered his gentleness and warmth. His father called him his firstborn, prince, friend, teacher and “gentle giant,” as well as a musician and cook. His mother, Michal Halev, described him as the love of her life. Laor was building a new life in Israel and pursuing his musical ambitions when he was murdered at the Nova festival.
