Lior Weizmann, 32, was a graduate of Sapir College’s School of Audio and Visual Arts and a talented soundtrack designer. His creative work lives on in films for which he composed and designed sound, including projects he never had the chance to see presented on the big screen. Lior was also a cyclist and had planned an early-morning ride on October 7, exchanging messages and live locations with a friend shortly before the attack began. He was murdered that morning. Sapir College later dedicated a special film event to his memory and artistic work.
