Maayan, 65, was a longtime Kibbutz Be’eri resident, mother of four and grandmother of six. She was responsible for job placements on the kibbutz, while she and her husband Yuval were both active in conservation projects. Their children remembered a warm, music- and story-filled home and parents deeply involved in their family’s lives. Maayan and Yuval were murdered together in their home on October 7.
