Malik Karim, 32, of Dimona, was a Beersheba police investigator, husband and father of two who had dreamed of becoming a police officer. He was working security at the Supernova festival on October 7. When the Hamas attack began, Malik helped evacuate partygoers and joined other officers in setting up a roadblock to slow the gunmen and give civilians time to escape. He was killed while protecting them.
