Margit Shnaider Silberman, 63, immigrated to Israel from Peru in the 1970s and built a life in Kibbutz Nir Oz with her husband Yossi. On October 7, Hamas terrorists murdered Margit and Yossi in the kibbutz. Their daughter Shiri Bibas and young grandsons Ariel and Kfir were abducted alive to Gaza and later murdered in captivity, while Shiri’s husband Yarden Bibas was taken separately and ultimately released alive in February 2025.
