Marsel Talia

Marsel Talia, 65, was born in South Africa and grew up in a religious Zionist family with a deep love of the land. As a child she loved walking through the wheat fields of her parents’ farm, brushing the stalks and feeling the morning dew. A devoted mother of four and a growing number of grandchildren, Marsel was remembered as joyful, simple in the best sense, deeply faithful and extraordinarily generous. Her family described her as a woman whose giving knew no limits and who believed strongly in unity and love among the Jewish people. She treasured her grandchildren and remained playful enough to jump on a trampoline with them at 65.
