Meechai Ritthiphon

Meechai Ritthiphon, 42, was a Thai agricultural worker who had been working in Israel since 2021 and hoped to move to Canada after completing his contract. On October 7, while at Kibbutz Alumim, he posted warnings that there was an emergency and people should seek shelter. His final message said the shooting was very heavy. Hamas terrorists attacked the workers’ living quarters, and Meechai was murdered alongside fellow agricultural workers.
