Menuha Hulati, 76, had a connection to Kibbutz Kissufim stretching back to her youth, when she first came there as a soldier-teacher with members of her core group. After her military service she returned to Holon, married and became the mother of two children. In 1976, Menuha and her family returned to Kissufim, making the kibbutz their home for nearly five decades. On October 7, she and her husband Yisrael were trapped in their home after it was set on fire. Yisrael was eventually rescued, but Menuha did not survive.
