Holon
Mordechai Ben Ariel Biton, 22, of Holon, was raised together with his sister by their grandmother, who devoted herself to giving them a loving home. Known as Ariel to those close to him, he attended the Supernova music festival near Re’im on October 7. Ariel was murdered during the attack. His loss was especially devastating for the grandmother who had raised him and his sister and later fought to be formally recognized as a bereaved mother in acknowledgment of the parental role she had played in his life.
