Moshe Ridler, 91, was a Holocaust survivor and the oldest resident of Kibbutz Holit, affectionately known as the kibbutz grandfather. After surviving a concentration camp as a child, he immigrated to Israel, served as a police detective and later helped manage absorption centers for Ethiopian immigrants. Moshe was murdered in his home on October 7 alongside his caregiver, Petru Boscov.
