Nanthawat Pinjai

Nanthawat Pinjai, 26, came from Ban Lao in Sakon Nakhon province in northeastern Thailand and worked on a dairy farm at Kibbutz Alumim. His family described him as a pillar of the household, and he had traveled to Israel to work and help support those he loved. Nanthawat lived alongside other Thai and Nepali agricultural workers at Alumim, sharing the demanding daily work of the kibbutz farms. He was killed during the October 7 attack on their living quarters. Nanthawat is remembered not simply as a foreign worker, but as a young man carrying responsibility for his family and working far from home to build a better future for them.
