Nira Ronen, 86, was one of the early pioneers of Kibbutz Kfar Aza, where she built her life, raised four children and became a grandmother of 12. She remembered the young kibbutz as a place with a special magic and joy. On October 7, Nira hid in her safe room with her Filipina caregiver, Angelyn Aguirre. Both women were murdered by Hamas terrorists in Nira’s home.
