Nitikorn “Lee” Sae Wang
26 years old
Nitikorn “Lee” Sae Wang, 26, came from Chiang Rai province in northern Thailand and worked in Israel to support his family. He was a young father whose son was born while Nitikorn was abroad; heartbreakingly, he never had the chance to meet him in person. Nitikorn lived and worked at Kibbutz Kfar Aza alongside other Thai laborers. Friends knew him as Lee and remembered the group of workers who shared daily life far from their families. On October 7, Nitikorn and his coworkers sought shelter when the attack began. He was killed at Kfar Aza alongside fellow Thai worker Settha “Tom” Homsorn. He is remembered especially as a father whose work abroad was tied to his family’s future.
